About This Conference

The 2014 Singapore session focused on "The Gateway to Asia," examining the city-state's role as the central hub for global business media in the East. As major outlets like Bloomberg Asia, CNBC, and the Wall Street Journal expanded their regional presence, the conference provided business schools with the tools to navigate the intersection of Western journalistic standards and the diverse cultural nuances of the Pan-Asian market. Attendees worked with senior bureau chiefs to understand how to position faculty expertise on the "Asian Century" for a global audience.
