About This Conference

As one of the earliest KikiNetwork sessions in Latin America, the 2011 São Paulo conference focused on "The BRIC Breakthrough." At a time when Brazil was emerging as a dominant global economic force, the session helped business schools understand how to navigate the country’s concentrated yet powerful media landscape. Attendees worked with top editors from Exame, Folha de S.Paulo, and Época Negócios to learn how to translate academic research into the "growth stories" that international bureaus were hungry for. The conference emphasized the importance of building personal, long-term trust with Brazilian journalists and established a template for how schools can maintain a consistent voice in one of the world's most dynamic emerging markets.
